Inês Zenha participates in ""A era das fábulas. A arte e o poder rexenerador da fantasía" [The age of fables. Art and the regenerating power of fantasy], a collective exhibition at the Museum of Pontevedra.
The exhibition has been conceived as a conversation between the collections of the Museum of Pontevedra, the María José Jove Foundation and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary. In this way, it has counted on the participation of the curators of each institution, Susana González (María José Jove Foundation), Chus Martínez (TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary), Ángeles Tilve (Museum of Pontevedra).
An exhibition in three acts that links the art collections of the María José Jove Foundation and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary with the artistic, archaeological and ethnographic collections of the Museum of Pontevedra.
Under the headings "Acto I. Imaxinación-mar", "Acto II. Transformación-terra" and "Acto III. Renacemento-aire", works by Maruja Mallo, Vasili Kandinski, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, Joan Miró, Miquel Barceló, Luis Gordillo, Louise Bourgeois, Ernesto Neto, Menchu Lamas, Noa and Lara Castro and Teresa Solar will be shown around fictional narratives, essential to understanding reality.
Inês Zenha's works are part of "Acto I. Imaxinación-mar", together with works by Luis Gordillo, Anselm Kiefer, Sonia Levy, Maruja Mallo, Ernesto Neto, Akeem Smith, Teresa Solar, Francisco Vázquez Díaz 'Compostela'.
These works by Inês are part of a series entitled Entaglements, composed of six works, which were exhibited in a collective exhibition at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza under the name "Liquid Intelligence". This series became part of the TBA21 collection.
The exhibition feature works by Nora Aurrekoetchea, Mercedes Azpilicueta, Jorge Barbi, Miquel Barceló, Georg Baselitz, Misha Bies Golas, Louis Bourgeois, Noa & Lara Castro, June Crespo, Salvador Dalí, Marina González Guerreiro, Luis Gordillo, Antony Gormley, Cristina Iglesias, Wassily Kandinsky, Anselm Kiefer, Menchu Lamas, Fernand Léger, Sonia Levy, Maruja Mallo , Din Matamoro, Joan Miró, Manuel Moldes, Ernesto Neto, Kiko Pérez, Pablo Picasso, Alejandra Pombo Su, Belén Rodríguez, Alfonso Daniel Rodríguez Castelao, Rubén Santiago, Himali Singh Soin, Akeem Smith, Arturo Souto, Teresa Solar, Francisco Vázquez Díaz 'Compostela', Mathias Withoos and Inês Zenha.
